Apply a workplace label

Step 2

Remember to apply a workplace label to the solution container

Use a Rescue™ Concentrate workplace label and record the dilution ratio, the lot number and expiry date. NOTE: The solution is effective for 90 days once diluted.

Pre-clean heavily soiled areas with wipe or towel

Step 3

Pre-clean heavily soiled areas

Remove visible soil and pre-clean the area by working from the least contaminated area to the most contaminated area.

Spraying surface with Rescue™ Ready to Use

Step 4

Apply the diluted solution until thoroughly wet

The entire surface area should be covered and appear visibly wet. Wettability and surface coverage are equally as important to ensure disinfection can be achieved in one application.

Surface with timer showing 1 minute

Step 5

Allow surface to remain visibly wet for 5 minutes

In order for disinfectants to be effective they must remain wet on the surface for their entire contact time. Be sure to follow the proper contact time for specific pathogens.

Wipe surface dry or allow to air dry

Step 6

Wipe surface dry or allow to air dry

Use a damp, clean cloth to dry small areas, or for larger areas like floors let them air dry and rinse if needed.

Success and Troubleshooting Tips

Start Fresh.

If you are switching from a previous cleaner and disinfectant to using Rescue™ for the first time, start with fresh accessories and tools. Rescue™ will remove build up from previous disinfectants and may cause a non-toxic reaction and musty odor. The odor will eventually disappear after a few times of using Rescue™.

Measure. Measure. Measure.

There are many mixing systems available, but at the very minimum use a measuring cup! Measuring will ensure proper dilution and ensure proper claims are being met when you want to kill certain pathogens.

More is NOT Better.

Follow the dilution ratios and you will conserve product and prevent unnecessary damage and sticky floors. When diluted properly, Rescue™ Concentrate is a cost-effective solution for your everyday cleaning and disinfectant needs.

Wait Before Wiping Dry.

Always follow the required contact time when disinfecting a surface for a particular pathogen. Consider setting a timer and moving on to your next task while waiting for the timer to go off.
